On February 10, City Council adopted Resolution 6966 which changes the start time of Wednesday meetings to 6 p.m. and establishes a standard adjournment time of 9 p.m. unless prior scheduling arrangements are made or unless a majority of the Council votes to continue the meeting. Before the 9:00 p.m. adjournment time, a motion may be made and seconded to continue the meeting for a specific duration or to a specific time.

Another recent change affects meetings that include "business from the public" on the agenda. Persons wanting to provide comment to the council during business from the public must register on the the Council Meeting Materials page before noon on the day of the meeting in order to be included in the public record.

Use the button next to the title of the meeting to register to speak or submit written testimony to be entered into the record. Business from the public is not scheduled for every Council meeting.

Speakers will be limited to three minutes, unless extended by the Mayor. If you are not speaking under business from the public you can watch the meeting on the City's YouTube channel or the City's Facebook page.
